In particular historical moments, both on stage and in the clinic, hypnosis became a means for generating signs and symptoms of the body. How does visuality work in each of these cases? Which shared expectations, convictions and complicities among participants do acts of hynosis emerge out of? 

THE LAKE plays with procedures, occurences and hypnotic suggestions to reflect on the affinity between the construction of a body under hypnosis and practices of theater and choreography.
